Bellevue Real Estate Information

A suburban community in Davidson County located near Nashville, the town of Bellevue, Tennessee, is located about 15 miles southwest of the downtown area of the city. It lies just off Interstate 40, offering residents convenient access on to the highway to easily reach other neighboring locations.The city is incorporated as part of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County. Population figures are hard to come by for the area since it does not have any legal, definable boundaries, but it is commonly referred to as Nashville's second largest neighborhood, following Antioch.

The schools in the community are operated by the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and include two elementary schools, Harpeth Valley Elementary School and Gower Elementary; one middle school; Bellevue Middle School; and one high school, Hillwood High School. Attractions in the community include three parks, Bellevue Park, Bellevue Babe Ruth Park and Bellevue State Park and the community Bellevue Center. Additionally, just within a few miles are Edwin Warner Park and Percy Warner Park, and three golf courses, Temple Hills Country Club, Old Natchez Country Club and Harpeth Hills Golf Course.

As a community so near to Nashville, residents often associate with that city and as such are fans of its professional sports teams, football's Tennessee Titans, hockey's Nashville Predators and the college sports teams at Vanderbilt University. The city has plenty to offer visitors in terms of arts attractions and museusms, spanningfrom country music hot spots to an opera, ballet, theater and symphony to museums of art and history. The nearest airport is in the city, Nashville International Airport, offers commercial flights in and out. Several large festivals are thrown in Nashville as well, including the nine-day state fair, a film festival, an art festival, and the Country Music Academy's annual awards show.
